The Couloir is a pack designed for backcountry skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. Its unique top and panel loading options allow for rapid access to avalanche tools (shovel, probe, snowpack evaluation kit), clothing and lunch. The inverted U-shaped spring steel frame does a superb job of stabilizing sizable loads and transfers weight smoothly to the hips and sacrum. Stout shoulder straps and hip belt and a padded back ensure a comfortable interface against the body.
