The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

·       Two or more years outdoor industry customer service experience

·       Or two or more years retail experience in outdoor specialty shops

·       Excellent written and verbal skills

·       Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite and ERP systems

·       Ability to work hands-on with product set-up and repair

·       Sewing experience preferred, but not required

What Will You Do?

 

As a member of the Customer Service team, the Warranty Services Specialist I will be responsible for receiving and processing customer repairs and returns. This role will also provide a high level of service and support to EXPED’s customers.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate, test, and repair customer returns
  • Maintain a clean and organized repair shop
  • Process warranty replacements and credit memos
  • Resolve customer warranty claims
  • Facilitate the shipping of repairs, replacements, and parts
  • Maintain inventory of parts and repair supplies
  • Prepare and submit warranty returns reports
  • Become knowledgeable about all aspects of EXPED’s product line
  • Assist in maintaining company databases
  • Assist in developing and improving processes and procedures 
  • Assist with other Customer Service duties, as needed
  • Support Sales and Marketing, as needed
  • Responsible for opening and closing the office
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft 365 Suite and ERP systems)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and flexibility are crucial to this position
  • Lifting or moving cartons up to 50 lbs

  • This position is an in-office position in Tacoma, WA
